Vacancy

This collection explored the newly empty spaces in my home and in my life after losing my maternal grandmother to a stroke. She was like another parent to me growing up and losing her affected not only the people in my home but the way the house felt and functioned. We all had to learn to breathe a little differently after she passed; these images explore that adjustment period’s difficulty.
